That journey started in 2018 when I, a young girl with big dreams, leaped into the working world by starting my own business. Bold, right? I thought so too.
I entered the beauty industry, a highly competitive space, but one thing that made me stand out was exceptional customer service. I quickly learned that delivering outstanding support was the secret to building lasting brand loyalty. And I made it my mission to go above and beyond.
Then came my first job working for someone else as a sales representative. Here’s the fun part: I was hired five minutes after my interview! Why? Because I brought fresh ideas, volunteered for extra tasks (often at no cost), and was committed to the team’s success. Within a month, I was promoted to team lead.
It was during this role that my boss turned to me and said, “Ifunanya, I want you to be my Virtual Assistant. You handle all my admin tasks already—it’s time you wear that title.”
And just like that, my journey as a Virtual Assistant began. My passion, resourcefulness, and reliability earned me that title. Helping clients with their tasks and taking the load off their shoulders is what I love most about my work.
